Amid the jungle on the shores of a South China Sea island, this secluded, upscale resort is 13 km from Tioman Island Golf Club and 50 km from Mersing.

The chic wooden cabins have air-conditioning, Wi-Fi access and iPod docks, plus flat-screen TVs , mini bars and coffeemakers. All offer verandas and indoor showers, while some add outdoor showers and bathtubs, kitchenettes and/or hot tubs. There’s also a house with a pool.

There’s an open-air restaurant built on stilts in the sea, plus a sophisticated eatery overlooking the beach. Other amenities include a spa area with a hot tub, and massage is offered. Dive trips and trekking are also available.
