Hospitality Direct Launch Food With Love Campaign

KUALA LUMPUR, 3rd December 2019 – Today marks the official launch “Food with Love” campaign, a new Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative to help underprivileged children and old folks who are the residents of welfare shelter around Klang Valley and Selangor.


The pilot project kick-started on 15 October 2019 and received overwhelming support from the members of the public and this kind of support encourages the campaign to continue.


The campaign manager, Shafida Salim in her statement said every RM9.99 of the donation received is worth a plate of nutritious food.  These foods will be delivered to the charity shelter which homed underprivileged children, orphanage and the elderly.


“We are targeting another 300 plates to be delivered in January 2020.  I really hope this small contribution can bring joy to the residents” Syafida added.


Thishalla Silvasingham, Assistant General Manager of Hospitality Direct in a separate comment said that the company understand the importance of fundraising for charities and this kind of program can give a great value to the public.


“We wanted to take this commitment further and create a genuine proposition for charities that allows the charitable organization to hold more effective programs” comment Thishalla.


For record, the campaign’s first food with love delivery was carried out on 14th November 2019.  A total of 120 foods plates were raised and delivered to Rumah Titian Kaseh (RTK), a non-government organization (NGO) provides shelter to orphans, abandon children, handicapped, old folks and abused women near Titiwangsa.
